Jonathan Chevreau is a veteran financial columnist, blogger, and author based in Toronto. He has published several books and e-books, including Findependence Day, A Novel Approach to Financial Independence, The Wealthy Boomer, and Smart Funds. His latest book, Victory Lap Retirement, was co-authored with Mike Drak and will be published later this summer. In 2014, he launched the Financial Independence Hub, which covers the topic from a North American perspective. 

Since declaring his Findependence Day in May 2014, he has been blogging for the Motley Fool, Financial Post, and MoneySense.ca. He was the Financial Post’s personal finance columnist between 1993 and 2012, and editor-in-chief for MoneySense Magazine from 2012 to 2014. He is active on various social media platforms and is also a member of the Port Credit chapter of Toastmasters.
